Is ‘Laine’s Bake Shop gluten free?
No, ‘Laine’s Bake Shop is not gluten free at this time. We do carry gluten free treats from Holcomb Hollow Bakery for our gluten sensitive customers to enjoy!

No, ‘Laine’s Bake Shop does not operate in a Kosher kitchen at this time.

What are your shipping rates?
Shipping rates vary based on the size and weight of the package.
How fast will my shipped order get to me?
We only ship products on Monday- Wednesday unless you request overnight shipping to ensure that your product arrives fresh (and does not sit in a shipping warehouse over the weekend). You may request next-day shipping or priority shipping and we will try our best to accommodate you. Shipping times vary based on your distance from Chicago, IL. You can estimate your shipping time here. Shipping time does not include processing time at the bakery to complete your order. Orders placed by Thursday at 6 PM CST will go out the following Monday or Tuesday. We do not process orders on the weekend or on holidays. Please contact us with any questions!
Can I track my order?
You will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout when you place your order and an additional shipping confirmation when your order is shipped. A tracking number and instructions will be included in your shipment confirmation email.
How can I cancel my order?
You must cancel custom orders at least 2 weeks prior to your event or ship date (whichever is earlier), deposits are non-refundable. Other orders should be canceled at least 48 hours before they are due to be picked up or shipped. To cancel, please call 1-844-3LAINES.
What if I’m not satisfied with my order?
If you are dissatisfied with your order please call us within 2 days of your receipt or event at 1-844-3LAINES (1-844-352-4637) and we will make it right! We cannot accept returns on food items as that is a violation of the health code but we will work with you to address any concerns.
Can ‘Laine’s Bake Shop use trademarked or copyrighted images in my order?
Due to trademark and copyright infringement laws ‘Laine’s Bake Shop cannot recreate trademarked images on any of our items without permission of the trademark owner. This includes licensed characters or company logos that you (our customer) don’t own. In certain cases, we are able to obtain one time licensing exemptions from trademark owners. We can always work with you to design coordinating treats for your theme without the use of licensed images! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
